You grew old some time ago, and debility and death long courted you. We tried to make your life as full as you made ours, as long as we could. What you once enjoyed was no longer possible, so we made the impossible decision to let you go. Your pain was too great, so we’ll carry it as we once carried you; gently and faithfully. We ask no more of you. We held you steady as you let go. Rest well, and know that you were our Best Girl.
